The Denim Design Digital Prize proclaims its three winners and makes a leap forward in social audience and engagement.
Voted by the Facebook users, the three winning students will receive special prizes to support their efforts to develop creativity.
This year’s Digital Prize is an important extension of the ISKO I-SKOOL™ 2016 project, that ended last July with a dazzling celebration during the “The Night Is Young” fashion show in Treviso – Italy. This latest initiative promoted the entire global educational project through social media.
Facebook users and followers of the Facebook page were invited to vote one of the 20 shortlisted projects presented by the students from the best fashion academies in the world, participants in the ISKO I-SKOOL™ 3 Denim Design Award.
Through a special platform, integrated on the ISKO I-SKOOL™ official Facebook page, Facebook users were asked to participate with their vote for their favorite denim outfit project so they could contribute to designating the ‘Digital winners’ of this third edition.
Voting happened from 3 to 17 October 2016 and was open to all Facebook users, generating a total of 1.641 votes, given by unique users, with overall coverage of 570,000 people involved, for a page that has now reached over 36,000 followers.
The three winners of the ISKO I-SKOOL™ Denim Design Digital Prize are:
– 1st Place: David Caracuel (from FIDM – Los Angeles) with the project “Air Force Urbanite”, presented for the “Renovated Denim Icons” mood.
He received 25% of the votes and wins a Reflex Digital Camera as well as 200 meters of ISKO™ denim for his school.
– 2nd Place: Anna Biotti (from IUAV – Venice) with the project “Wendy”, presented for the “Renovated Denim Icons” mood.
She received 23% of the votes and wins 50 meters of ISKO™ denim.
– 3rd Place: Alessia Gozzano (from NABA – Milan) with the project “Alliance”, presented for the “Jool” mood.
She received 14% of the votes and wins 25 meters of ISKO™ denim.
The success of the third edition of ISKO I-SKOOL™ made it a must-have project for the industry and promises to grow even more as it prepares to unveil future developments.
