THE DENIM DESIGN AWARD IS DEDICATED TO TOMORROW’S DESIGNERS-TO-BE
AND TO DENIM DESIGN PROFESSIONALS IN THEIR EARLY CAREER.
PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO DEVELOP THEIR DENIM CREATIONS FOLLOWING PRECISE CREATIVE THEMES IDENTIFIED BY CREATIVE ROOM™, ISKO™’S STYLE AND DESIGN CENTER, AS KEY FOR FUTURE TRENDS.
The ISKO I-SKOOL™ Denim Design Award is much more than a simple competition: it is a structured training program meant to motivate youth to learn everything they can about the art of denim and gain experience through a number of workshops and denim seminars that take place in the inspiring Creative Room, ISKO's style research lab located in Italy.
The ISKO I-SKOOL™ Denim Design Award main goal is to share knowledge and teach young talents how to develop a design that is industrializable, allowing talent and creativity to take shape in real garments.
ISKO™, together with Creative Room and selected partners, will guide participants to discover the entire denim supply chain.

No matter where we were born or where we live, one thing remains the same: we all share this planet. Being a designer today is not only about creating beautiful things, it also means being aware of the process as a whole, from sketching to manufacturing to marketing, taking responsibility of the product life cycle. We ask that you explore the world that surrounds you both locally and globally.
This means drawing on your own origins and background and combining it with influences and ideas inspired by other cultures, style and ways of life to create your responsible denim.
The Final Award Ceremony will take place at the end of the 2019/2020 Academic Year.
