The shortlisted project for the 6th Denim Design Award

ISKO I-SKOOL™ 6 PRESENTS THE SHORTLISTED PROJECTS FOR THE DENIM DESIGN AWARD

After announcing the 17 finalists shortlisted for the new edition of ISKO I-SKOOL™ Denim Design Award, it is time to fully unveil their projects, presented during the Denim Seminar (March 18-20 2019).

The Denim Seminar represents the first step of the educational phase that will lead the students to create their own denim garment that will be showcased during the final Award Ceremony in July.

12 of the shortlisted finalists are students coming from some of the best fashion academies in the world, which are also ISKO I-SKOOL™ 6 partnering schools.

5 of them are young Denim Design Professionals in the early stages of their careers, shortlisted amongst many applicants from all over the world; this is the first edition to include professional profiles as participants in the Denim Design Award.

They will all soon delve deep into the Educational Program phase, leading them to the development of their ideas turning their project into reality through a dedicated path made of real expertise transmission, knowledge acquisition, and information sharing.

New for this edition will be also the Denim Educational Guide, a special tool that will be presented to the finalists in order to give them a specific instrument to discover all the secrets behind the blue fabric.

Side by side with their tutors and ISKO I-SKOOL™ partner experts, students will also explore the latest issues in the denim sector, especially those related to sustainability, trying to imagine “New Denim Codes” as set out in the main creative theme guidelines.
