After announcing the 20 finalists of the 7th edition it is time to present in detail their design projects, from which each candidate will start to develop a unique Capsule Collection made of 6 garments.
ISKO I-SKOOL™ 7 arrives to a crucial phase of its path, announcing the 20 shortlisted finalists who will be competing in the Denim Awards. They will create their own denim garment, starting from the design projects presented in the pre-selection phase.
Now it’s officially time for the educational path to start, involving all the finalists, both students coming from the best fashion academies throughout the world, and young professionals in the early stages of their career.
This year the Educational Program will lead them, through a special Denim Webinar, to develop their ideas and turn their project into reality. The webinar will provide a set of dedicated sessions made of real expertise transmission, knowledge and information sharing. A path designed and lead by ISKOOL team, tutors and Brand Partners to introduce young talents to the many aspect of the denim world.
Each participant will learn all the basic skill to fully develop their design projects, summarized in the followings moodboards. In fact, participants were asked to develop a responsible concept following the creative direction as described in the Creative Theme “North, East, South, West, connected by one planet.”.
The young designers were asked to shape a Capsule Collection made of 6 garments inspired by the Creative Theme and explain the reasons that led them to pick those particular concepts and fabrics.
